There are now over 120 medical doctors of Nigerian descent serving the Western Australian community as specialists in General Practice, Medical and Surgical Specialties, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Paediatrics.

Genesis Forum Incorporated also known as the Association of Nigerian Doctors in Western Australia was founded in 2010 by a small group of Nigerian Doctors working in General Practice. It now comprises a broad spectrum of specialists caring for people across the life course, from pregnancy and birth, through childhood and adolescence, and all stages of adulthood into old age. Our members share the traits of Nigerian ancestry, aiming for for excellence in care of their patients, while also striving for a balanced family and social life.
